So the secret is out! From 2011 the Global Hit Music and Galaxy network stations will be known as “95 – 106 Capital FM, The UK’s No.1 Hit Music Station”. The question is - how different do these stations actually sound at the moment? Is it going to be a huge shock for the listener when they become 95-106 Capital FM?

Since the revival at the Jingle Time Ball in 2008 from Capital FM it seems all the major radio stations are back into putting on large "pop" concerts for their P1 audiences. Getting rid of a lot of the health and safety hazards, plus financial risks of the 'party in the park-esq' performance - it seems, regional radio stations are back with putting on the 'poptastic' gigs.

Can one unknown boyband use the power of the largest commercial radio broadcaster to launch their assult into the pop charts?
